A equipa de futsal do Sporting classificou-se na terceira posição do Torneio Internacional da AF Lisboa, ao vencer o Benfica por 4-1. Os golos só apareceram na segunda parte, altura em que o Sporting dominou por completo sem dar hipótese de reacção à equipa encarnada.
A perder por 1-0 injustamente, os comandados de Orlando Duarte deram a volta ao marcador, deixando boas perspectivas para o encontro da Supertaça de futsal, a realiza no próximo sábado, em Portimão. Os autores dos golos leoninos foram Alex II, João Matos e Buiu.
