I think what you said was very logical. However, what about this? suppose you added a little information? I am not suggesting your information isn't good, but what if you added a title to maybe grab folk's attention? I mean "Ai Schmeichel !!!" is kinda plain. You could look at Yahoo's home page and watch how they create post headlines to grab viewers to click.
You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to get readers interested about what you've got to say. In my opinion, it could bring your website a little bit more interesting.
